Simple Baking: Baked Pears with Cinnamon, Honey, & Granola
Looking for a dessert this holiday season that stays a bit on the healthy side of things? I am! I wanted to make something that was somewhat healthy and just as delicious as grabbing a slice of pie… and I am pretty sure I found it! You also don’t have to be an expert chef to make these. I mean, to be honest, making this dessert is about as easy as it gets.
I’m so incredibly happy with how these turned out! It’s the perfect Thanksgiving/Christmas dessert. They were an absolute hit in my household and so I thought I would go ahead and share them with you. I hope you enjoy!
Baked Pears With Cinnamon, Honey, & Granola
- Preheat oven to 450 F and position a rack in the middle of the oven.
- Cut the stems off and cut each pear horizontally into two halves. Then cut off a small slice off of the rounded back of each half so that the pears lay flat on the baking sheet.
- Using a round spoon, scoop out the center of the pear where the seeds are.
- Line the pears onto a baking sheet with the inside facing up and drizzle with honey and cinnamon.
- Place in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with granola.
- Serve as is or with vanilla ice cream.
It’s as easy as that! I hope you enjoy this recipe. If you end up making these this holiday season, let me know how you like them. And as always take a photo and tag me on Instagram (@rissieblog). I would love to see them.
