Looking for a dessert this holiday season that stays a bit on the healthy side of things? I am! I wanted to make something that was somewhat healthy and just as delicious as grabbing a slice of pie… and I am pretty sure I found it! You also don’t have to be an expert chef to make these. I mean, to be honest, making this dessert is about as easy as it gets.

I’m so incredibly happy with how these turned out! It’s the perfect Thanksgiving/Christmas dessert. They were an absolute hit in my household and so I thought I would go ahead and share them with you. I hope you enjoy!

Baked Pears With Cinnamon, Honey, & Granola

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F and position a rack in the middle of the oven.
  2. Cut the stems off and cut each pear horizontally into two halves. Then cut off a small slice off of the rounded back of each half so that the pears lay flat on the baking sheet.
  3. Using a round spoon, scoop out the center of the pear where the seeds are.
  4. Line the pears onto a baking sheet with the inside facing up and drizzle with honey and cinnamon.
  5. Place in the oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with granola.
  7. Serve as is or with vanilla ice cream.

It’s as easy as that! I hope you enjoy this recipe. If you end up making these this holiday season, let me know how you like them. And as always take a photo and tag me on Instagram (@rissieblog). I would love to see them.
